Hope Valley Aspen Forests in Snow and Light

A golden moment as late afternoon sun breaks through the overcast sky in Hope Valley, California, along Route 88. Recent snow still remains on tree limbs and on the eastern side of the Aspen trunks, while golden sun warms the beautiful light brown bark on the western side of the trees. A true golden moment frozen in time for repeated enjoyment and wonder.
